Launched in June 2021, we’ve hosted the likes of Andrew

'Overcoming Adversity'

For our fourth members-only Clubroom Session, we were joined by three legendary Asuwere members. As New Zealand battled various levels of COVID lockdowns, there was no better time to engage our members on a chat around adversity, something many of us will have experienced in some way or form.

We were joined for a virtual talk with two legends in their field (and no strangers to adversity) Sam Cane and Dan Carter, hosted by Andrew Mulligan.

Our 5th Clubroom Session, this time speaking with two legendary members who between them are the brains behind many of our favourite restaurants, cafes, pubs, and more.

We were joined for a chat with the visionary Josh Emett (Onslow, Rata, Oyster Inn) and Hugo Baird (Honey Bones, Lilian, Hotel Ponsonby) to hear an insight into their backgrounds, the process of launching their own businesses and the speed bumps and wins along the way. For our 6th and final Clubroom Session for 2021, we were joined by 2 legends, Frank Jasper (Former Chief Investment Officer at Fisher Funds, CFO of Whiparound), and Scott McLiver (Global Lead, Digital Innovation at PWC & Co-founder of Glorious) for an exciting and informative discussion on the approach to investing in (and understanding) a dizzying market full of stocks, currencies, crypto, and NFTs.
